Adolescent Outpatient Treatment

To help our adolescent patients transition home and back to school after an inpatient hospital stay, The Pavilion offers a partial hospitalization program (PHP) and an intensive outpatient program (IOP). These intensive day programs are led by an interdisciplinary treatment team, and help give the support necessary for each patient to live a healthy, balanced life.

While treatment and therapies are similar to those offered in inpatient care, programming takes place only during daytime hours so adolescent patients can spend their evenings, nights and weekends at home. A typical programming day lasts four to eight hours, depending on the patient’s treatment plan.

Program Components:

  • Nursing, psychosocial, cognitive, dietary and leisure assessment skills
  • Psychiatric and mental evaluations
  • Group, family, play, art, occupational and recreational therapy
  • Parent education
  • An in-house, certified teacher
