The partial hospitalization program (PHP) and intensive outpatient program (IOP) for children at The Pavilion Behavioral Health System are intensive day programs that give patients the ability to transition back home and to school after their hospital stay. Led by an interdisciplinary treatment team, the goal of partial hospitalization at The Pavilion is to provide the support necessary for each child to begin their journey to a healthy, balanced life.
Patients receive similar treatment and participate in the same type of therapies as they would in inpatient care, but they attend programming during daytime hours and spend evenings, nights and weekends at home. Children attend programming for four to eight hours a day, depending on the individual treatment needed.
